Gamze Tazim — Biography

Gamze Tazim is a Dutch actress of Turkish descent. She became widely known for playing Noa in the youth series Het Huis Anubis, a role she continued in the show's feature-film spin-offs. She later played Elif in the film Karışık Kebap (Mixed Kebab).

She grew up in the Schilderswijk district of The Hague with her parents and two siblings. Her first contact with performing came through dance in childhood: at ten she joined the Fafa Show dance academy, and at twelve she began training as an actress at Jeugdtheaterschool Rabarber. She then took roles in a number of stage productions and appeared in the music videos for the Dutch rock band Racoon's songs "Laugh About It" and "Love You More".

The turning point of her career was Het Huis Anubis. In the spin-off films Anubis en het Pad der 7 Zonden (2008) and Anubis en de wraak van Arghus (2009) she played Noa again. In 2010 she acted in the film Gangsterboys, and in 2012 she appeared in Karışık Kebap.
