Gamze Karaman — Biography

Gamze Karaman (born October 16, 1982, in Istanbul) is a former handball player who later became known as a model, actress, and television host. A graduate of Marmara University's Sports Academy, she was crowned Miss Model of Turkey in 2003 and went on to place second at the following year's Miss Globe International pageant, which brings together national winners of the Miss Model of Turkey contest.

After her pageant success, Karaman moved into acting, appearing as Eda in the film The Class (2007) and as Abide Sultan in the television series Harem (2012). She married businessman Nedim Keçeli in 2017, and in the summer of 2018 she welcomed her son, Yaman; since then she has often gone by the name Gamze Karaman Keçeli in public life.
