Gamze Aksu — Biography

Gamze Aksu was born in İzmir in 1988. She practiced artistic gymnastics from the age of three for fourteen years before turning to modern dance training.

After an injury during her modern dance studies led her to switch to the opera program, she performed as the lead singer of Paprika, a group she founded in İzmir. She later moved into acting through theatre training at the İzmir State Theatre.

She made her screen debut in the film Recep İvedik 2, going on to appear in the film Şeytanirracim as well as the series Akasya Durağı and Tutar Mı Tutar. In 2018 she gained wider recognition as a member of the Volunteers team on the Survivor competition hosted by Acun Ilıcalı.
