Fatoş Sezer — Biography
Fatoş Sezer (31 January 1958, Gölcük – 1 June 2011, Istanbul) was a Turkish film and television actress of Polish descent. Her parents were Poles who fled the Nazi camps during World War II and settled in Turkey.
Educated at the Sorbonne and the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, Sezer was active as an actress from 1984 to 2009. Her screen credits include the films "Yoksul" (1986), "Kaçamak" (1987), "Kurtar Beni" (1987) and "Hanım" (1989), as well as the television series "Sıla".
She died of a heart attack in her sleep in Istanbul on 1 June 2011.
