Duygu Sarışın — Biography

Duygu Sarışın was born on 24 November 1987 in İzmir and completed her acting training in the Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University. Alongside her studies she also took an interest in fashion design, while gaining stage experience at the İzmir State Theatre.

She began her television career in 2011 with the series Cennetin Sırları, and went on to portray a range of characters in later series such as İnadına Yaşamak, Kaçak Gelinler and Rengarenk. Her role as Burcu in the 2017 series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler brought her to a wider audience.

Throughout her career she has developed both in conventional series roles and in character-driven parts, combining her İzmir theatre roots with her television work.
