Dilek Serbest — Biography
Dilek Serbest was born on 17 March 1981 in İzmir, Turkey, to a family of Macedonian immigrant background. After beginning her career as a model, she moved into television in 2002 with the series Yarım Elma and went on to build a career spanning film, television and theatre.
Her best-known screen credit is the 2012 historical epic Fetih 1453, and she has also appeared in the film Büyü and the television series Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Erkenci Kuş. Beyond acting, Serbest has occasionally drawn media attention for her personal life, including a widely reported relationship with producer Faruk Aksoy and a brief 2010 marriage that ended in divorce.
