Devrim Evin — Biography
Devrim Evin (born 12 November 1978 in Adıyaman) is a Turkish film and stage actor. After graduating at the top of his class from the Acting Department of Hacettepe University's State Conservatory, he joined the Eskişehir City Theatres in 2003 and the Adana State Theatre in 2005.
He is best known for playing Sultan Mehmed II in Fetih 1453 (2012), one of the highest-budget productions in Turkish cinema history, directed by Faruk Aksoy. In 2014 he starred as the title character in Yunus Emre: Aşkın Sesi, and later reached television audiences as Antuan in the TRT 1 series Barbaroslar: Akdeniz'in Kılıcı.
On stage, Evin has toured London, Berlin, Frankfurt and Ankara with his solo play "APEx / Çıkış Yolu Yok," adapted from Franz Kafka's short story "A Report to an Academy."
