Çağla Şimşek — Biography

Çağla Şimşek was born on August 1, 2002, in the Çekmeköy district of Istanbul. The daughter of a father from Samsun and a mother from Gümüşhane, she was discovered at a very young age by director Osman Yağmurdereli and began her acting career as a child performer.

She first drew attention with productions such as "Elveda Derken" (2007), "Kayıp Prenses" (2008) and "Cuma'ya Kalsa" (2010), then reached a wide audience through her roles in "Hayat Devam Ediyor" (2011-2012), "Elif" (2014) and the four-season series "Küçük Gelin" (2013-2015), gaining recognition in the Arab world during this period as well. She went on to appear in "Ferhat ile Şirin: Ölümsüz Aşk" (2019), "Seni Kalbime Sakladım" (2022) and "Tozluyaka" (2022), and later returned to the spotlight playing the character İpek in the series "Uzak Şehir".

In addition to acting, Çağla Şimşek also works as a model and continues to take part in both film and television projects.
