Baki Çiftçi — Biography

Baki Çiftçi was born on December 7, 1988, in Düzce. He turned to acting after completing his studies in Civil Engineering at Selçuk University in Konya.

He gained stage experience with İstanbul's Emek Tiyatrosu, including a run of boat theatre performances on the Beşiktaş-Kadıköy ferry line, while continuing his acting training under Betül Alganatay at the Craft and Actedcity acting studios and attending Tom Brangle's on-camera workshops. In the summer of 2014 he landed his first notable role as Edner in the Kanal D series Şeref Meselesi, joining the cast of Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem the following year.

He reached a wide audience with the character Levent in the 2018 series Erkenci Kuş, having earlier played Ateş in Beni Affet. His filmography also came to include the 2023 series Saladin: The Conqueror of Jerusalem. Local press in 2024 reported that he portrayed Atatürk in a production in his home city of Düzce.
