Azra Aksu — Biography

Azra Aksu is one of the award-winning child actors of Turkish television. She became best known for playing Güneş in Bir Küçük Gün Işığı, a role for which she was named Best Child Actor at the 48th Golden Butterfly Awards. In the new season of Yeraltı she has been cast as Bozo's daughter.

She appeared in commercials from the age of one and began acting in 2020. One of her first notable jobs was playing the young Aleyna Tilki in İşte Bu Benim Masalım. In 2021 she was nominated for Best Child Actor at the Golden Butterfly for her role as Elif in Baht Oyunu (Twist of Fate). She won the award in December 2022 for Bir Küçük Gün Işığı, which aired in 2022-2023, and in her acceptance speech she said that stray animals should be looked after. She has also received the Best Child Actor award of the Turkish Medical Students' Association.

In 2023 she appeared in the film Son Akşam Yemeği. In 2024 she played Alyoşa in Şakir Paşa Ailesi (known abroad as Portrait of a Scandalous Family) and left the series in April 2025. In 2025 she took the role of Zeynep in Ben Onun Annesiyim.
