Ayşecan Tatari — Biography

Ayşecan Tatari is an actress and model who began on screen as a child, became known as Duygu in the series Çocuklar Duymasın, and later turned to the stage. Her mother is actress Aliye Uzunatağan, and she finished the Istanbul Italian High School.

She took her first screen steps in the early 1990s as a child actor in the film Tatar Ramazan Sürgünde. In 2000 she played Nazlı in the series Evdeki Yabancı, then reached a wide audience as Duygu for four seasons of Çocuklar Duymasın (2002–2003). Çocuklar Ne Olacak (2004–2005) was another series of this period. She then went to the United States to train at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Back in Turkey she first joined a private theatre company and then moved to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres. In 2015 she played Gülmisal in the series Yılanların Öcü. She married in New York in 2017 and had a daughter in 2020; in March 2025 she announced the end of her marriage.
