Aslı Sümen — Biography

Turkish model, dancer and actress Aslı Sümen, best known as Miss Turkey 2017, turned to acting after that success. Born in Mersin and standing 172 centimetres tall, she had finished second in the pageant; when the original winner's title was cancelled she took over the crown and represented Turkey at the Miss World final in China in November 2017. She took her first steps as an actress in 2021.

While studying business administration at Middle East Technical University she represented the university in competitions with its ballroom dance society. After a short video film she landed her first series role in 2021 in Baht Oyunu, playing Tuğçe Dikman alongside Cemre Baysel, Aytaç Şaşmaz and İdris Nebi Taşkan. In 2022 she played Ezgi Uysal in the web series Erkek Severse and Ayşegül in Gülümse Kaderine, which was taken off the air after its fifth episode. She went on to play Hilal Koral in Ruhun Duymaz (2023) and was also in the cast of the series Altay.

Alongside acting she still models; in 2026 she appeared in front of the camera in Rio de Janeiro for a swimwear brand's new collection. She married in Rome in September 2024.
