Aslı Samat — Biography
Aslı Samat was born on 25 April 1991 in Istanbul, though some sources give the date as 24 April. She studied in the Department of Drama and Acting at İstanbul Aydın University and, alongside theatre work, moved into professional acting.
She began her career in 2015 with the feature film Uzaklarda Arama. She then joined the series Ateş Böceği, broadcast on Star TV, playing the character Şirin opposite leads Nilay Deniz and Seçkin Özdemir. She also appeared in productions such as Lady Winsley and Konuşan Hayvanlar.
From 2019 she reached wider audiences as Melike Aştutan in the ATV series Hercai. In 2022 she played Nil, Hacer's daughter, in the series Gülümse Kaderine. Samat has said that, to pursue the acting career she had dreamed of since childhood, she lost weight over six years, reaching 93 kilograms.
