Asena Tuğal — Biography
Asena Tuğal was born on 28 August 1984 in Istanbul. She studied at Boğaziçi University.
She began her career in journalism, working as a news reporter and presenter for TGRT, Kanal D and Show TV, and later presented on Rai Uno in Italy. In 2006 she finished fourth in the Miss Turkey pageant and won the Miss Smile award at the Miss International pageant the same year.
Tuğal made her acting debut in 2010 with the series Ömre Bedel and went on to appear in Öğretmen Kemal, Tozlu Yollar, Aldırma Gönül, Şeref Meselesi, Filinta and Kertenkele. She played Seda in Lise Devriyesi, appeared as Hülya Yiğiter in Afili Aşk in 2019 and as Işıl Egemen in Erkek Severse in 2022, and joined the cast of Arka Sokaklar in 2024. In 2018 she married Şahin Irmak.
