Ali Çatalbaş — Biography
Ali Çatalbaş was born in 1963 in Istanbul and studied philosophy at Istanbul University.
He joined Nöbetçi Tiyatro in 1986, and two years later became a professional actor at Ortaoyuncular with the play "İstanbul'u Satıyorum," sharing the stage there with veteran performers Münir Özkul and Erol Günaydın and appearing in many of the company's productions. He also wrote and performed the one-man play "Kötü Çocuk" at Ortaoyuncular.
On screen, he is best known for the films Pardon (2005) and Kolpaçino (2009), while continuing his stage career at Ortaoyuncular in plays such as "İşsizler Cennete Gider," "Nasri Hoca ve Muhalif Eşeği" and "Masal Müfettişi."
