Zeynep Tedü — Biography
Zeynep Tedü (born 22 October 1943 in Istanbul) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress. She was born in Istanbul, the daughter of stage and screen actors Suavi Tedü and Perihan Tedü, and after high school she went to Italy, where she graduated from a theatre school in Milan.
She began her professional stage career in 1964 with the play "Bulvar" at the Dormen Theatre, and from 1965 onwards turned to cinema. She appeared in films such as Bozuk Düzen (1965), Aşk Eski Bir Yalan (1968), Bülbül Yuvası, Kalbimin Efendisi, Seven Ne Yapmaz and Acımak (1970), Ömrümce Unutamadım and Beklenen Şarkı (1971), Çileli Dünya (1972), Kara Osman (1973) and Bizim Köyün Zeynebi (1980), and also worked as an assistant director on Yumurcak Küçük Şahit (1972).
From the 1980s she appeared on television in series including Bugünün Saraylısı (1985), Olacak O Kadar (1986) and Ayrılsak da Beraberiz (2000), remaining active until around 2000. She was married to the actors Salih Güney and Genco Erkal.
