Zekeriya Topayan — Biography
Zekeriya Topayan (born 20 January 1989) is a Turkish goalkeeper. He was born in Osmangazi, one of the central districts of Bursa, and is generally described in the press simply as a Bursa native.
He has spent his career largely in the lower divisions of Turkish football. In August 2024 he left Turgutluspor to sign for his home-city club Bursaspor, a move announced on the club's official website and greeted by the local paper as "another signing for the Crocodile" — a 35-year-old goalkeeper joining a squad it rated above its division. He went on to play for Bursaspor in the third-tier TFF 3. Lig.
Bursa's local media followed his situation closely thereafter, and in March 2026 he was named among a group of players leaving the club.
