Zaza Enden — Biography

Zaza Enden — born Zaza Eladze on 28 May 1976 in Tbilisi, then part of the Soviet Union — is a Georgian-born former basketball player who settled in Turkey in 1992, first in Trabzon, and later obtained Turkish citizenship. Standing 2.06 m tall and known by the nickname "Tatu," he played as a power forward and spent the peak of his career at Fenerbahçe, captaining the club between 1998 and 2003.

After his playing days, Enden worked as a player-coach for Akçakoca Poyraz Gençlik in Düzce, guiding the team to promotion to Turkey's Second Basketball League at the end of the 2006-07 season, and briefly explored professional wrestling with the Turkish Power Wrestling promotion in 2010. His 2018 arrest on organized-crime membership allegations drew wide media coverage, and by early 2026 reports indicated he had turned to youth development, founding a basketball academy in Kocaeli.
