Yusuf Mersin — Biography
Yusuf Mersin (born 23 September 1994 in London) is an English-Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Born and raised in London, he attended Wilmington Grammar School for Boys.
Mersin began his career in the youth setup of Liverpool and later played for Crawley Town before a spell in Turkey with Kasımpaşa. He subsequently returned to English non-league football, keeping goal for Northern Premier League Division One West club Runcorn Linnets.
Although born in England, he chose to represent Turkey internationally and won caps for the Turkish under-16, under-17 and under-18 national teams.
