Yusuf Altıntaş — Biography

Yusuf Altıntaş, nicknamed "Rambo Yusuf" for his aggressive and physical style of play, is a former Turkish international footballer and coach born on 7 August 1961 in İzmit. He built his reputation primarily at Galatasaray, though he also played for Kocaelispor during his career.

Football has run through three generations of the Altıntaş family: his father, Mustafa Altıntaş, nicknamed "Köylü", was a former Bursaspor player, while his older brother Yaşar Altıntaş played for Sakaryaspor, Kocaelispor and MKE Ankaragücü. His sons Ahmet and Batuhan Altıntaş also went on to play professionally, with Batuhan following his father's path notably at Kasımpaşa.

Altıntaş recovered from a heart attack he suffered in 2016 and remains a well-known figure in Turkish football, particularly within the Galatasaray community.
