Yunus Çankaya — Biography

Yunus Çankaya was born on 23 February 1985 in Istanbul. Standing 1.98 meters tall, he is a Turkish professional basketball player who has spent his career at the small forward position.

Çankaya turned professional in 2005 and went on to play for clubs such as Banvit, Bursaspor Durmazlar, Gaziantep Basketbol and Yeşilgiresun Belediyespor over the following years. Representing the Turkish national team, he won a bronze medal at the 2009 Mediterranean Games, capping a long career spent with clubs across several Turkish cities.
