Yenal Tuncer

Yenal Tuncer — Biography

Yenal Tuncer is a left back and winger who played for many Turkish clubs, and who won the 2009-10 Süper Lig title with Bursaspor. His career moved back and forth between Denizli and other Anatolian sides, and he returned to both Denizlispor and Karşıyaka more than once.

He began in the Denizlispor youth system and played in its various junior sides until the age of 19. In 2004 he moved to Denizli Belediyespor, where he turned professional; after two seasons there he joined Bursaspor in the Süper Lig. In 2006 he was called up to the Turkey under-21 side for friendlies and played in the match against Norway. Because he was not getting regular games at Bursaspor, he was loaned to Antalyaspor for 2010-11 and to Samsunspor at the start of 2011-12, returning to Bursaspor each time when the loan ended. He won the Süper Lig with Bursaspor in 2009-10.

In later years he signed for Denizlispor in August 2013, became Karşıyaka's first signing in June 2014, joined Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor in July 2015 and returned to Denizli once more in June 2018.
