Yeliz Şar — Biography

Born Lara Yeliz Şar on 30 May 1977 in Germany, the actress graduated from Marmara University with a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. She began her acting career in 2001, playing the character Lara in the television series Aşkına Eşkıya alongside Alişan and Hande Kazanova. In the years that followed she appeared in numerous series, including Kardelen, İyi Saatte Olsunlar, Kalp Gözü, Yaprak Dökümü, Kollama and Dürüye'nin Güğümleri, continuing through the mid-2010s with shows such as Cesur Hemşire and Çakma Hayat, and later taking on the role of Sezen in the film Kismet.

She married Tolga Güleç in 2013 and separated from him in 2018; entertainment press coverage has also referenced an earlier relationship with businessman Sadettin Saran. In April 2023 she lost her mother, describing the period as an extremely difficult one.
