Yasin Öztekin — Biography
Yasin Öztekin was born on 19 March 1987 in Dortmund, Germany, and began his football career in Borussia Dortmund's youth academy. A dual German-Turkish citizen who can play on the left wing or in midfield, he later moved to Turkey, where he built his reputation at Süper Lig clubs including Gençlerbirliği, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor, and also earned caps for the Turkish national team.
In the later stages of his career Öztekin dropped into Turkey's lower divisions, turning out for clubs such as Bucaspor 1928 and Yalova FK before joining İzmir Çoruhlu FK in early 2026. After that side was relegated to amateur football during the season, the 39-year-old signed with Uşakspor in May 2026 to continue playing.
