Yalın — Biography

Born Hüseyin Yalın on March 30, 1980, in Istanbul's Fatih district and educated at Istanbul Bilgi University, Yalın is a Turkish pop singer, composer, and lyricist. He rose to wide recognition with his 2004 single 'Zalim' and has since remained active in the Turkish music scene both through his own releases and by writing songs for other artists; in early 2026, the song 'And İçmişsin', performed by Elif Pıtırlı, was credited to him as songwriter.

In the summer of 2026 Yalın drew attention with a series of live performances, including a surprise duet with Greek singer Natasa Theodoridou at a concert in Harbiye, a collaboration seen as a sign of warming cultural ties between Turkish and Greek artists. Around the same period, he also gave his first-ever concert on the stage of the Grand Sapphire venue in Cyprus, connecting with fans on the island.
