Volkan Arslan — Biography

Born in Hannover, Germany in 1978, Volkan Arslan was a central midfielder who played for clubs in both Turkey and Germany over the course of his career. He turned out for sides including Adanaspor, Antalyaspor, Ankaragücü, Galatasaray, Gaziantepspor, Hannover 96, Rot-Weiss Essen and Kocaelispor, eventually closing out his playing career at Bozüyükspor.

Arslan rose through Turkey's U-16, U-17 and U-18 youth national teams before earning his first senior call-up in 2003. After retiring as a player, he moved into coaching and has continued his career as a football manager.
