Veriko Tchumburidze — Biography

Veriko Tchumburidze (Georgian: ვერიკო ჭუმბურიძე; born 20 April 1996 in Adana) is a Turkish classical violinist of Georgian descent. Her international breakthrough came in 2016 when she won first prize at the 15th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Poland, one of the world's oldest violin competitions; around the same period she also received the Aydın Gün Encouragement Award.

Supported by the Pekinel Sisters' Young Talents on World Stages project, she continued her studies in Munich under Ana Chumachenko and has since performed with numerous international orchestras. In November 2025 she appeared with the Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and she continues to take part in Turkey's classical music scene, including programs that showcase young performers.
