Ümit Sonkol — Biography

Ümit Sonkol was born on 24 July 1982 in Konya, Turkey, and plays as a power forward. He also studied engineering at Balıkesir University and began his professional basketball career in the early 2000s.

Over the course of his career, Sonkol has played for Turkish Basketball League clubs including Pınar Karşıyaka, Best Balıkesir, Bahçeşehir Koleji and Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket, and was part of the Denizli Basket squad that won the championship in 2021.
