Ümit Bozkurt — Biography

Ümit Bozkurt (born 20 April 1976 in Gaziantep, Turkey) is a Turkish former international footballer and football manager. Standing 1.81 m tall, he played as a sweeper and defensive midfielder.

During his playing career he wore the shirts of Denizlispor (1997–2000), Beşiktaş (2000–2002), Gençlerbirliği (2002–2005) and Konyaspor (2005–2006), and later also played for Orduspor, Ofspor and Manisaspor.

After retiring he moved into management: following a spell in charge of Isparta 32 Spor, he took over Şanlıurfaspor in June 2026 and was appointed head coach of Sakaryaspor in July 2026.
