Uğur Boral — Biography
Uğur Boral (born 14 April 1982 in Tokat) is a Turkish retired footballer who played as a left-sided midfielder or left-back. Naturally left-footed, he was known as a playmaker and for occasionally scoring with unexpected shots.
Over his career he appeared for Gençlerbirliği, Ankaraspor, Kocaelispor and Samsunspor before joining Fenerbahçe in 2006, where he scored several memorable goals. He also began playing for the Turkey national team in 2006. He spent the final spell of his career at Beşiktaş in the Süper Lig.
Since retiring, Boral has remained in the public eye as one of Fenerbahçe's celebrated former players, appearing at club legends events and sharing his views on the team in the Turkish media.
