Uğur Akdemir — Biography
Uğur Akdemir (born 22 September 1988 in Eyüpsultan, Istanbul) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a defender.
He has spent his career largely in the Turkish league system. Press records place him at Eskişehirspor in 2016 and at Büyükşehir Gaziantepspor in 2018; at the end of that year Altay signed him from Boluspor, and in 2020 he was part of the Afjet Afyonspor squad. In January 2024 he joined Ankara Keçiörengücü together with Görkem Bitin.
In interviews he has emphasised club loyalty and dressing-room unity, telling reporters in 2023 that "this club, this community will stay up." Items about similarly named public figures, such as the voice actor Uğur Taşdemir, appear in the same news feeds but concern different people.
