Ufukcan Engin — Biography

Ufukcan Engin (born 8 March 1999 in Çanakkale) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. In the autumn of 2014, aged 15 years and 218 days, he became the youngest goalscorer in Turkish professional football, a record that made him a national story at the time.

After starting out in Çanakkale he moved to the Dutch club Fortuna Sittard in 2018. He returned to Turkey in 2020 to sign for Nazilli Belediyespor, and in later years turned out for lower-division sides such as Kırıkkale Büyük Anadoluspor.

He also represented Turkey at youth level, appearing in the under-15 squad in 2014 and the under-16 squad in 2015.
