Tutku Açık — Biography

Tutku Açık is a retired Turkish basketball player turned coach, born on 1 September 1980 in Silvan, Diyarbakır Province, who began his professional playing career in 1997. As a point guard he spent part of his playing days with Galatasaray.

After retiring as a player he moved into coaching, returning to Galatasaray in a new role in 2018 before taking charge of Bursaspor, a spell that ended in late 2020. He later coached Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor, and since the 2025 season he has been head coach of Bandırma Bordo Basketbol alongside Haluk Yıldırım.
