Turgay Gölbaşı — Biography
Turgay Gölbaşı (born 6 January 1983 in Bünde, Germany) is a German-born Turkish former footballer who holds both Turkish and German citizenship. Sources give his birthplace as Bünde or neighbouring Herford, both in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
He spent most of his playing career in Turkey, appearing for Samsunspor in the 1. Lig around 2010–2011 and featuring in the Körfez SK squad in the 2016–17 season. In May 2018 he joined Karşıyaka, where he brought his active playing career to a close in Turkey.
