Muhammet Tunahan Taşçı was born on 29 April 2002 in Nijmegen, Netherlands, and began his football education in Ajax Amsterdam's youth academy, where he played until 2021. The winger also represented Turkey at youth international level through 2020, building a game built on pace and technique that suits his 1.72-metre frame.

Of Turkish descent but raised in the Netherlands, Taşçı turned professional with Süper Lig side Konyaspor, embodying the dual heritage shared by many players of his generation. Transfer chatter surfaced among fans in the summer of 2026, but he has remained tied to the Konya-based club.
