Tülay Özer — Biography
Tülay Özer (10 December 1946, Kemaliye – 1 May 2026, Istanbul) was a Turkish singer. She was born in the Anatolian district of Kemaliye and was the elder sister of singer Zerrin Özer.
She began her music career in the early 1970s and remained active into the 2010s. Her albums included "Tülay" (1976), "Seven Ağlatılmaz" (1978), "Kalbimdeki Sevgili" (1981), "Özleyiş" (1989) and "Olmalı Olacak" (1993), and she became widely known for songs such as "Büklüm Büklüm" and "İkimiz Bir Fidanız".
She died in Istanbul on 1 May 2026, at the age of 79, and was laid to rest there.
