Tuğba Taşçı — Biography

Tuğba Taşçı (born 19 August 1984 in Fatih, Istanbul) is a Turkish professional basketball player. Listed at 1.78 m, she plays as a shooting guard and turned professional in 2000.

She has spent many years in the Turkish Women's Basketball League. Her spells at Beşiktaş account for a substantial part of her career, and the club's official channels featured her among the players giving team statements in May 2026. She joined Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyespor in 2015 and Galatasaray in the summer of 2017; Kayseri Kaski is also among her former clubs.

In July 2019 she married the basketball player Jordan Theodore. A dispute over unpaid wages at Galatasaray was reported in 2018 and again in 2020, and Taşçı commented publicly on the matter.
