Tuğba Taşçı — Biography
Tuğba Taşçı is a 1.78 m shooting guard who has played in the Turkish Women's Basketball League for many years. Beşiktaş has been the centre of her career: she played under that shirt in two separate spells, and in May 2026 she again gave a statement on the club's official site among its basketball players.
She turned professional in 2000. After playing for Beşiktaş from 2008 to 2012 she moved to Kayseri Kaski, with whom she reached the final of the Women's EuroCup, finishing runner-up after losing to the Russian side Dynamo Moscow. She returned to Beşiktaş at the start of the 2013-14 season. In 2015 she transferred to Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyespor and finished the 2015-16 season with the team in the league semifinals. She signed with Canik Belediyespor the following season and moved to Galatasaray in 2017.
In July 2019 she married the basketball player Jordan Theodore.
