Tuba Önal — Biography

Tuba Önal is a Turkish singer born on January 25, 1974, in Istanbul. She studied at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and went on to build a career in Turkish pop music.

In 1999, Önal won Turkey's national final, organized by the state broadcaster TRT, and represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest, performing "Dön Artık" together with Grup Mistik; the song was composed by Erdinç Tunç with lyrics by Canan Tunç. Two years earlier, in 1997, she had also competed in the national final with a different song, "Sevda Bu Dostum."

Over the course of her career, Önal has released several recordings, including an album titled "Onun Adı Aşk."
