Torkom Saraydarian — Biography

Torkom Saraydarian (1917, Sivas – 1997, Sedona, Arizona) was an Armenian-American writer, poet and musician. Born to an Armenian family in what is now Turkey, he was raised from childhood in the 'Ageless Wisdom' teachings under his father's guidance, and later traveled widely to monasteries, temples and esoteric schools in search of answers about the nature of humanity and the cosmos.

A classically trained musician, he played violin, piano, oud, cello and guitar and went on to compose hundreds of musical works. Through his extensive writing — much of it left unpublished — along with his lectures and compositions, he sought to draw the world's spiritual traditions into a single, universal synthesis.
