Tolga Özgen — Biography

Tolga Özgen was born on 28 February 1980 in Ankara and built his career as a goalkeeper in Turkish football. He started out with local club Gençlerbirliği, moved to İnegölspor in 2000 and then to İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor in 2003, before spending the 2005–06 season on loan at Giresunspor and Kasımpaşa and finally signing permanently with Kasımpaşa in 2006.

Later in his career Özgen also played for clubs including Gaziantep FK, İstanbul Başakşehir and Elazığspor; a contract with one club was terminated in 2012, and reports indicate he returned to Gaziantep in 2013. He is known to have finished his playing career at Adana Demirspor.
