Tolga Doğantez — Biography
Tolga Doğantez was born on 22 February 1975 in İzmir. A centre-back, he earned three caps for the Turkey national team and two for the Turkey B team, and played at club level for Gençlerbirliği, Beşiktaş, İstanbulspor, Ankaraspor, Samsunspor, Sivasspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Karşıyaka and Turgutluspor. He moved from Gençlerbirliği to Beşiktaş in 2002 and was part of the club's squad for its 100th-anniversary season, before ending his playing career at Turgutluspor in the 2011-12 season.
After retiring, Doğantez moved into coaching at lower-division clubs, taking charge of Bucaspor 1928 in the autumn of 2025. He left that post in February 2026 and went on to coach Erbaaspor, before being appointed head coach of Menemen FK in July 2026.
