Where are you going, Habibi? (Where Are You Going, Habibi?) (translated)

Where Are You Going, Habibi?, originally titled Wo willst du hin, Habibi?, is a 2015 German film written and directed by Tor Iben. Mixing comedy, drama and romance, it runs roughly 79 minutes and is spoken in German and English.

The story follows Ibrahim, a young man of Turkish descent who has completed his training in real estate in Berlin yet meets one job rejection after another, and the bond he forms with a small-time criminal who performs as a wrestler. When the wrestler breaks both arms, Ibrahim takes care of him and falls in love, though the other man regards himself as straight.

Handling this uneven closeness between two men in a tragicomic key, the film also features Özay Fecht, the Turkish actress and singer long based in Germany, in its cast.
