Üçüncü Selim'in Gözdesi is a 1950 black-and-white Turkish film directed by Vedat Ar, with a screenplay co-written by Nâzım Hikmet and İhsan İpekçi. Produced by İpek Film, it blends romance, drama, musical and historical elements, with cinematography by Özen Sermet.
The film tells of the composer Sadullah Ağa, who falls in love with Mihriban Sultan, the favorite concubine of Sultan Selim III, and is thrown into the dungeons as a result. Münir Nurettin Selçuk plays Sadullah Ağa, Perihan Altındağ Sözeri plays Mihriban, and Cahit Irgat portrays Selim III; the cast also includes Münir Özkul and Feridun Çölgeçen. Selçuk and Sözeri performed the film's songs themselves.
