Two Friends
Two Friends (Italian: Due amici) is a 2002 Italian drama film co-directed by and starring Spiro Scimone and Francesco Sframeli. Adapted from Scimone's own stage play Nunzio, the film also features Roberto Citran and Valerio Binasco among its cast. Shot in Italian and Sicilian, it marked the feature film debut of its two director-actors.
The film was screened in the Critics Week section of the 59th Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Lion of the Future award for best first feature. It also received a nomination in the European Discovery section of the European Film Awards, further confirming its recognition as a notable debut on the international festival circuit.
