The Partisan

The Partisan is a 2024 biographical spy thriller written and directed by James Marquand. A co-production of the United States, the United Kingdom and Poland, it was distributed in Poland under the title Skarbek.

The film tells the true story of Krystyna Skarbek, a Polish operative who served the British Special Operations Executive during the Second World War. Morgane Polanski takes on the lead role, supported by Frederick Schmidt, Agata Kulesza, Ingvar Sigurðsson and Malcolm McDowell.

Running roughly one hundred minutes, the picture had its world premiere on 27 September 2024 at the Gdynia Polish Film Festival. It later reached audiences in the United Kingdom through Signature Entertainment and in the United States through Brainstorm Media.
