Tatort: Borowski und die Kinder von Gaarden is a 2015 German television film from the long-running crime series Tatort. Directed by Florian Gärtner, it first aired on Das Erste on 29 March 2015. The story marks the twenty-fifth case of Kiel chief inspector Klaus Borowski, played by Axel Milberg. This time Borowski investigates alongside police trainee Sarah Brandt, portrayed by Sibel Kekilli, in Gaarden, a working-class district of Kiel. When a crime draws in children from the neighbourhood, the two investigators are pulled into the tight-knit community, where family loyalties and hidden tensions complicate their search for the truth. The film was produced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk from a screenplay by Eva Zahn and Volker A. Zahn and runs about 88 minutes. Alongside Milberg and Kekilli, the cast includes Julia Brendler and Tom Wlaschiha. Like other Borowski episodes, it blends a character-driven police procedural with a close look at the social fabric of northern Germany.
