Summit (French: Un corps, une nuit) is a 1968 Italian-French drama written and directed by Giorgio Bontempi. The roughly 100-minute picture marked Bontempi's debut as a feature film director. It was selected for the main competition at the 29th Venice International Film Festival, where it screened alongside the event's most prominent entries. The film also received a Silver Ribbon (Nastro d'Argento) nomination for its musical score. Its cast brings together notable performers of the era, including Gian Maria Volonté, Mireille Darc, Erika Blanc, Olga Georges-Picot and Giampiero Albertini. Shot in Italian as a co-production between Italy and France, it stands as a representative example of late-1960s European auteur cinema.
