Stromberg

Stromberg is a German mockumentary comedy series written mainly by Ralf Husmann, produced by Brainpool TV and broadcast on ProSieben across five seasons from 2004 to 2012. As one of the earliest international adaptations of the British series The Office, it follows Bernd Stromberg (Christoph Maria Herbst), the inept manager of an insurance-company office, and went on to win multiple honors including the Deutscher Fernsehpreis and the Grimme-Preis. Turkish-German actor and filmmaker Sinan Akkuş was part of the cast. The show's popularity later spawned a 2014 feature film and a follow-up film released in December 2025, Stromberg – Wieder alles wie immer.
