Last station (Son İstasyon)

Last Station is a 2010 Turkish drama written and directed by Oğulcan Kırca. The director's father, Levent Kırca, takes the lead as Ruhi, a railway clerk and father of three who works at a small provincial train station.

With retirement just around the corner, Ruhi hopes to use his payout to buy a sturdy house and live out his remaining days quietly. His children's longing for a better life, however, pulls the whole family toward Istanbul, where unfolding events slip beyond anyone's control. The supporting cast includes Başak Daşman, Özgün Aydın, and Rıdvan Aybars Düzey.
