Sara: Woman in the Shadows

Sara: Woman in the Shadows (Italian: Sara - La donna nell'ombra) is a six-part Italian crime drama miniseries directed by Carmine Elia, released on Netflix in June 2025.

Teresa Saponangelo leads the cast as Sara, a retired secret agent who is forced back into action when her son dies under suspicious circumstances. As she digs into what happened, she finds herself investigating a chain of crimes that turns increasingly sinister. The thriller series also features Claudia Gerini, Flavio Furno, Chiara Celotto, Carmine Recano, Peppino Mazzotta, Antonio Gerardi, Ernesto Mahieux and Massimo Popolizio.
